No ka ‘oi (no kah oy) meaning the best; to excel, superior; number 1
Caleb explains… “the phrase “no ka oi” comes from a Hawaiian expression “Maui No Ka Oi” meaning “Maui is the best” – and if you’ve ever been to visit, it’s not hard to see why. This island has become my home/playground since moving here from Oregon in 2008. My days are filled with surfing, hiking, and exploring!”
I met Caleb and his wife Christine at Crossfit, while I was living in Maui, and watching his business and career grow has been exciting!
Videography is by far one of my favorite parts of the wedding industry! Like Caleb says, “My goal is to create something you’ll want to show off to your grandkids in 30 years!” It’s truly so valuable to capture memories in motion, and one of the only things you can take with you from your wedding day.
Q&A with Caleb Dunham
What artist/business/place inspires you the most?
I’m inspired by the beauty surrounding me here on Maui. Everywhere you turn, there’s an amazing back drop of ocean, cliff or jungle. I follow a few wedding videographers on Instagram who are amazing. I draw lots of inspiration from them and incorporate tropical/Hawaii vibes.
What's your favorite part about being an entrepreneur?
The absolute best part of being an entrepreneur is not having to answer to a boss. It’s a huge responsibility because everything rides on you and your motivation but that’s also a driving factor to keep creating and moving forward
What's a non-negotiable in your schedule?
Family time is a must. It’s the whole reason I started working for myself, more time with family.
Favorite hobby outside of your business?
Surfing, hiking, camping, and traveling. Both in Hawaii and the mainland

Commando hike, it’s where I met my wife
I’m super happy and proud of Caleb, his business has grown substantially and he is now taking on inter-island projects as well as weddings on the mainland!
