What did you want to be when you grew up?

“Depends on the age. When I was in middle school and early high school, I wanted to be an animal conservationist like Jane Goodall, but for giant panda bears. Then I saw the movie Broadcast News and I decided I wanted to be a TV news producer. I ended up working in documentary and news-oriented programming for a few years before shifting to kids television, and ultimately becoming a writer / content creator”

What 2020 has taught you about your business?

“This year has reminded me of the benefits of having an entrepreneurial spirit and also being my own boss. I was able to react, adapt, and pivot to the ways in which business changed due to Covid and get creative about generating revenue through new projects.”

Anything you want to say to “Women In Business”?

“I've been forging my own path since 2003, and I've never once questioned my decision. My core business, my offerings, and the ways in which I generated revenue have evolved over the years, but that works for me. I never get bored, and I love that I can continually change and grow in what and how I serve others through my work.”
